MUSIC IS MY ART

No matter where I am, there will always be music. Music is not just notes making a sound; rather, it's a message, and it is the way it is delivered and expressed that makes its art beautiful. Music comes in different meanings and moods. If I feel happy, PLEASEEE give me some Shakira, and if I'm heartbroken, maybe a little bit of Bad Bunny or Taylor Swift will be my consolation. Music can be either a curse or a cure for how we feel. It's just like a painting! Every time I look at The Monalisa, I feel sad. I'm not saying she's ugly or anything mean about her, but why does she look so depressed! She has such a flat face; where is her RIZZ with a nice jawline? Now, that would transfer a funny vibe! LOL Anyways, how come this painting is so famous and yet transfers such a negative vibe. It literally looks like the background is crying, and she is standing there without wanting to. Personal Trauma?... All this to say that Music has the same artistic power. Hearing to Michael Jackson or Bruno Mars will bring the sunshine out but listening to some of Olivia Rodrigo's songs will definitely bring tears out.

Music has wisdom yet the only true wisdom consists in knowing that you know nothing. Yes, humans know nothing, and it is this realization that brings art into our lives. It's that WOOWWWW moment when we see something that makes it art. It is learning something new or even admiring something like a painting (I still don't know what people see in the Monalisa) or music that brings beauty and a mix of feelings into our lives. Art is the rainbow that we find in our daily lives. It comes in different ways, but ultimately, it all consists of thinking outside the box.

In my opinion, I believe that today's music is not art. What is up with society learning the lyriks to a song that absolutely makes no sense (AHEM RAP) I will never understand this but I respect other people's views. What can I say IT'S THEIR OWN ART! Anyway, I believe true artistic music is written with a purpose and a passion to deliver a lesson/message. One of my favorite songs is Imagine by John Lennon. It expresses the message of peace through the music and rhythms that create nostalgia and a sentimental mood. Instead of drawing graffiti on the walls saying "STOP THIS WAR," Lennon decided to write a song. This is beautiful, and it's the best way of conveying a strong, peaceful message. Music is an art, a therapy, and a life changer.
